Really interesting story about prejudice against Jews during the Civil War

This is a beautiful book that's feeling and imagery inspired me to be a better person
Although this book is written for young adults, I found it very enlightening about the plite of the Jewish people during the Civil War. It is a quick read but very educational. I would recommend it to anyone interested it Civil War history even though it is a work of fiction.
