Questions about PaperBackSwap

I have a few topics watched- one of them has had a few posts, but I wasn't emailed. I have been emailed on the others. I hit unwatch then hit watched again , but still I am not getting notified. Any suggestions? |

Did you check your settings...if you go to "My Account" then "Settings" and scroll down, it should show which topics you are slated to receive emails on, and you can change your preferences.
Alternately, did you check your junk mail folder? I have had notifications like that get marked as spam because it doesn't look like a personal email. Last Edited on: 7/21/10 3:33 PM ET - Total times edited: 1 |

Nothing in junk mail. Checked under settings for email and the box is NOT checked. But it does NOT show a list of topics I have set to receive emails on... although I have 3 threads watched that I HAVE been getting email alerts on... and I was getting them for the thread in question as well until yesterday.... very weird.... Are they in your Club Communications? If they show there it would mean the site is sending them OK and its a provider/spam filter issue. If they are not there, then the site is glitching somewhere and you should send in Feedback and ask about it so that they know there's something hinky going on. |

Never thought to look in club communications... and yes, they are there. I double checked my junk mail and nothing is there... does hotmail have a folder called spam? I know gmail calls it spam, but my hotmail has one called junk and I thought they were the same thing... guess I need to contact tptb.... Curious if anyone else is having this problem? k, I found an old message (that I didn't delte) and clicked on mark as safe, so I am going to wait a bit and see what happens... (I found an old undeleted msg, so I clicked "safe" and that seems to have worked. Weird that the msgs weren't in my junk folder though) |

I think hotmail is one that can get messed up pretty easily by other members. If someone else who uses hotmail marks PBS emails as spam enough, their filters kick in and block the emails, tho it seems like it is random and not consistant. Sounds like you found an easy way to get it cleared up on your account |
