I've been searching for a good romantic suspense writer, and I've finally found one!

I'm watching You had a very original plot line at least one I hadn't seen before. It was well thought out, and kept me interested the whole way through! And there's a pretty even split between the romance and the suspense. Also we're lucky enough to get (I believe) 3 different POV's: Kristen, Abe and the villain's.

With each chapter we get to know Abe and Kristen a little bit more, and I have to say that it's hard not to like, or even root for them! And the bad guy was a real surprise!

Overall a very good read! I've added all her other novels to my TBR list :-)

Great story! Full of suspense with the right amount of romance...loved that Kristin and Abe both had things in their pasts that they were afraid to acknowledge. That gave their characters more depth...and the bad guy...had me rooting for him even though what he was doing was wrong, and also had me guessing at his identity right up to the end.

ASA Kristen Mayhew has dedicated her life to putting criminals behind bars. Then someone decides to take the law into their own hands, killing the criminals that Kristen was unable to convict. Kristen herself is horrified by what the media has labeled the Vigilante Killer. After each murder, the killer sends Kristen a note along with a box that will lead the police to the grave of the victim. Though Kristen doesn't grieve for the criminals that have been murdered, nor does she condone anyone taking the law into their own hands.

Detective Abe Reagen has returned to Homicide after five years undercover. After the brutal shooting of his wife six years before and watching her waste away for the five years following the shooting, Abe has only tried to forget. When he meets Kristen for the second time, he is free to let his feelings show. Though he knows that she's suffered heartache in her life, he also knows he can't let her go. Together they embark on a journey to find a killer who is killing killers and rapists. The race to find the killer is intensified when the family of one of the Vigilante Killer's victims vows to find out who the killer is. And the best way to find that out is through Kristen.

I was very surprised who the killer was, but I thought it was very fitting. And the epilouge was perfect! This is her best book yet. There is a enough romance in the mix that it makes it great.

This was my first Karen Rose book, but I'll be looking for more. I like her style of writing and the unusual plot kept me interested and guessing.
