I recently purchased a book at Goodwill that I already have and decided to post it here.  However, looking at the front and back covers, I am not sure if there is water damage or not.  The inside pages (with text) are clearly undamaged, but the inside front cover has some discoloration (yellow-ish) and it is not flat but somewhat warbled.  However, I could see it getting that way from pressing on the book different ways, I just don't know what all could cause the coloration stain--it does not cover the entire inside front cover, only part of it, but the page right next to it (a normal text page) shows no signs of ANY stain, making me doubt that it is indeed a water stain, because I would think such a stain would touch more than one page.

Thoughts?  For what it's worth, I would be perfectly satisfied with a book in this condition, and it doesn't feel water damaged to me, but I don't want to post it only to find someone more selective than me is unhappy with it.

Hi Destiny!

It sounds kind of borderline to me and I wouldn't post it because I'd be concerned that the requester might mark it as RWP (Returned With a Problem).  Maybe you can offer it as a freebie?

OK, I'll do that.  I assume I put it in my signature like below?  (Sorry for all the questions, just joined PBS last week!)

If in doubt don't list it.  That's my motto.

That sounds like water damage to me-crinkly cover and a stain.  Yellowing is allowed but this sounds like liquid damage of some kind.  Maybe someone used a glass to hold the cover open at some point or something.
