Hi!  I stopped drinking bottled water a long time ago, because of the health risks of BPA. Here is a new vidoe on bottled water that you may find interesting.

I have been using a Britta water filter for a couple of years now and take my own water to the job.  I do buy a bottle of water now and then but only when absolutely necessary.  The biggest problem with bottled water is getting the bottles recycled, people just don't do it.  It is a hard habit to break but I am trying!

Its nice to have recycling to handy at college, which is probably a good thing, since you see just about every college student with one. But our water (at least at my school) tastes horrible, and I'd much rather bring my own. I think convenience is the key- even if you just set a side a bag in your kitchen so you remember to take out the recyclying once a week.

My roommates and I use the britta filter as well to fill our own bottles, we love them! I miss home though, where we get our water from a well, and it tastes delicious!!

Ohhhh-- just moved to Florida and it looks like NO ONE recycles anything!  After living in Germany and Colorado, recycling/reusing is a way of life for us. But the water issue is so polarizing--- we drink only tap water at home---but when you're out running errands in 90-100 degree heat and humidity and it seems like you're dehydrating every hour, we have to buy water or lemonade/ice tea/diet soda.  We've tried taking tap water from home in the car with us, but the ice melts within 15 minutes and after an hour or so it tastes 'old", kinda like if you reuse a plastic bottle from bottled water and fill it with tap water it tastes "dusty".   Any suggestions?????
