I'd like to begin getting my father e-books for his Nook rather than hard copies -- does anyone know if there's a way to do that?  TIA!

If you are buying books from an online bookstore other than BN, some of them will allow you to gift the books to another individual.  I know that allromanceebooks does, but that probably won't do your dad any good, lol.  Some others may also allow you to do that.  If you want to stick with BN to purchase the books, your best bet is probably the gift certificate.
