I know if I do a Sci Fi search under Box O Books I will get a list of Boxers who have Sci Fi and that list will be top to bottom largest number of books in that genre and decreasing.

I have a lot of Sci Fi & Fantasy on my bookshelf and I like to make deals with people who have lots of Sci Fi & Fantasy. Is there any way to do the same type of search for other members?

For example, If I want to pick up Andre Norton books that I am missing I would much rather find someone with several or a wider range of Sci Fi & Fantasy on their bookshelf to make a deal.

Thanks,

Kevin

You might want to ask the question in the Book Bazaar. A lot of people do that including myself.

There is no way to search for member with specific books other that BoB. You may want to post in the Book Bazaar as mentioned or in the genre specific threads where you may be more likely to find someone with a more specific shelf.

Before I became a Boxer, whenever I was looking for more than one book in a series or by the same author, I posted in the BB.  If they aren't WL or hard to find than most likely you'll get someone willing to offer a deal on them.

There is a kind of hit-or-miss method - look at the reviews (if any) for the book and check the shelves of those people - they may still have the book on their shelf, and then you can see what else they have.

But in general, posting in the book bazaar is probably the most effective technique.
