Sorry this has probably been asked before but when I searched the forums I didn't find the answer just a whole bunch of threads about wishlisted books.

Is there anyway to tell who is wishing for a particular book ?

not really- you can search through people's wish lists, like say you have someone on your buddy list who has the same tastes as you, you can look there.

The only way is looking a people's wishlist on a one by one basis.  There is a thread in the book bazaar forum where people tell which books they REALLY want this month: http://www.paperbackswap.com/forum/view_topic.php?t=86405

Thanks for the answers.

I have a book that had one member wishing but it has a cleaved spine.  I wanted to contact them and see if they would still be interested in it and maybe do a 2 for one deal but since I asked the question the book now has no wishers.

Thanks again !

Shan,

You can offer a 2 for 1 deal for it by posting in the Book Bazaar Forum.

I recently found 2 copies of wishlisted books that were in unpostable condition. I posted threads in their genre forums, offering them as freebies with an order from my shelf. Each had a wish list about 45 people long. My copies were gone within hours!
