... to see if any of the books in my bookshelf are in someone's wishlist?  The other sites I use permit this, but I haven't seen the capability here.

If they are on your shelf, you would be notified.

If you put books in your TBR pile, you can see if they are being wished for.  A green or red w will appear.

Thanks!  I was afraid that items were being missed as on BookMooch where I can see that my books are on wishlists, but people haven't responded to the notices.

On this site you pretty much know (or can know) immediately when you post the book - the site will automatically offer it to the first person in line on the wishlist, a tab will appear on your account showing books being offered to other members that are waiting for a response..  If there wan't anyone wishing for it, it will just go on your shelf.

This is assuming that the book isn't under a ISBN that is on someone's WL.  There are plenty of books I've seen with all sorts of ISBN's and they don't get offered to me as a "similar" book.  Frequently enough the Search function doesn't work properly because a middle initial is taken by the system as the first letter in the last name of the Author.  I've even had the system leave out books because it was using the first letter of the first name.  And I have one book that I could only find by going to the bottom of the one ISBN listed to find there were other versions and had to click on them from there.  Search can be quite quirky.  One easy way I've discovered to see if multiples of the same book title on my WL is to resort them by author.  And you know the missing book is on the list but you have to hunt it down until you find wherever the resort put your book.
