When I post a book is there a way to attach a "note" for public view that says "brand new" or "read only once"

or "textbook"????

No everything you could do would follow the ISBN not the copy of the book that you have. You can post in the book bazaar forum or add a note in your bookshelf header though. Something like Hannah Montanna book brand new gift condition.

No because PBS works primarily on a FIFO system.  So there is no place to put condition notes.  There are set guidelines that books have to meet to be posted to the system.  If a book doesn't meet those conditions then it has to be advertised in your signature, on your bookshelf header, in your profile or in the Book Bazaar.  If someone wants a book that's above and beyond the condition guidelines then they need to have requestor conditions asking for them.

Not that I know of. Tagging it or putting that in your review will just get the review and the tag removed. It's too confusing for people to list individual book conditions. You can put a note on it, but only you will see that note.

The problem is that the books here usually go out by the FIFO system. So the descriptions have to cover all the copies of that book.

You could put a note in your sig if you've got something special, or on your profile page.

Otherwise, 'brand new' or 'read only once' won't matter to most people ordering. As long as the book meets guidelines, they should be happy.
