Wayne L. Youngblood (born June 11, 1959 in Santa Fe, New Mexico) is a Native American author and editor who has been active since 1987. He grew up in Espaņola, under the dual shadows of the Los Alamos Scientific Laboratory and severe racial tensions between Whites, Indians and Hispanics (of which he has blood of all three).
He has written only non-fiction on subjects as varied as American Indians, colonial American history, photography (including those of Edward S. Curtis and Mathew Brady), and thousands of columns and features about postage stamps for collectors.
Youngblood also has edited the Encyclopedia of Native Tribes of North America (Michael G. Johnson, Compedium Publishing, London, 2007) and wrote the section titled "The Indian Today." He edits the Airpost Journal (a monthly publication for aerophilatelists) and currently lives in Wisconsin.
