Mr. Ethan Brundy is an absolute gem and the highlight of this book. He's an admirable, self-made man with the humblest of origins who knows his mind and sticks to his values. However improbable it is to fall in love with just one look, Ethan's determined to win the heart of his newly acquired wife who at first disdains him. Before she knows it, Lady Helen can't help but admire his sterling character and thoughtful ways. This is as far removed from sensual as you can get, but romantic and satisfying nonetheless. 3.5 stars.
