I loved this book, which includes many elements of life - mother/daughter relationship, father/son relationship, a stalker, bullying, diabetes, a cardboard sled race and more. It was pleasant and fun to read! Highly recommended.

Since Millie's mom owns a resturant and Millie works there, Millie explains the food language to David. For example on Millie's second date she says, "the amount of food and the effort that went into preparing it says I'm very interested in you...if I had any doubt about our relationship, I would have made baked brie and cheese." The author's sense of humor makes this book delightful reading.
