Great chick-lit, definitely aimed at the younger-20s. Fast, fun read.
"Weekend in Paris" is told in the vein of the Shopaholic series. A lot happens to Molly Clearwater in the space of 48 hours as she quits her job and takes an unexpected trip to Paris. I was breathless at the end of the book as so much had been crammed into Molly's short weekend - a fun, romantic story.
This book is full of twists and turns. The main character starts out as an insecure person and in the end through situations ends up confident and more content with her life. I recommend this book to anyone who loves Europe as there is name dropping of many famous attractions. This book is also for those who enjoy and easy to read books with light romance and life situations. I finished this book in 2 days as it was hard for me to put it down. I am now starting "A Summer in the City" which hopefully will be just a good.
I borrowed this from my daughter and wasn't disappointed..."Week-end In Paris" is a great summer book. Fun and light hearted. But then a book about Europe and Love, what could be better?
Light romance: a young English woman comes to know herself better during a weekend in Paris where she finds a father she has never known, a passionate love affair, a vibrant new friend.
