Nice book with some good tips but overall the outfits covered aren't my personal style, still a good read though. I've found that with sewing books if you even get 1 or 2 new and useful ideas from it that you're able to incorporate into your sewing it was worth the read.

I got many great tailoring ideas from this book. I also learned how to combine and switch pattern ideas to make a new garment with my favorite features. It does not include patterns; this is to teach you ways to take an ordinary pattern and make it special.

This is NOT a pattern book, but more of a "how to sew as much as you can as fast as you can" book. It has some great ideas on how to make the same dress pattern look different, if you have a favorite pattern.
