I had two Box-o-Books transactions back in September/October that were incomplete.  I sent out my books but then never heard from the other members or received my books from them.  I figured it was a loss and didn't expect my books to ever show up, so I had PBS move the transactions to my Completed swaps tab.  Never thought much more about it, really.  Well, yesterday I open my mailbox and what's there?  My book from the September BOB transaction!  I was shocked.  Granted it was just mailed last week, there was no note or PM explaining why it was 6+ months late, and it says the other member's account is still suspended or closed, but it's here!  I guess there's some hope for those problem BOB swaps after all!  Still, it's a little strange...!

I had the same thing happen to me. If it is the same person there may be a reason why they were never mailed. Like they were in a bad accident and in the hospital for months. I tried PMing and never got a response.  Yesterday I got the books they were mailed March 19.  I marked my transaction awhile back because I got tired of looking at it. I wish there was a note explaining why the delay because I really thought the worst of the person. I thought they were just scamming people I never thought I would see the books.

It's possible that they had them wrapped up and ready to go and then just kept putting it off and forgetting about them until guilt finally took over.

I had some books go lost when I first joined. The lady had given them to her husband to mail. He put them in his trunk where she found them a month later.  She PM'd me-I had ordered a deal from her so I cancelled the 2nd transaction immediately when PBS reordered the book for me.  So I told her to send them and I marked it received in my TA.

I did wonder if something happened with this member.  Originally in September, she told me she'd have to mail my book a little later because she had been sick.  I told her it was no problem - obviously health is more important than a book or two.  Later though, there was no response to my PMs and PBS told me she had several incomplete transactions.  It did made me wonder if something else had come up.  I usually find myself trying to give people the benefit of the doubt - I have no idea what's going on in someone else's life, but there are plenty of things that are a bigger deal than PBS that could get in the way.  Either way, it was a nice surprise to see that book finally show up!
