Does anyone have any suggestions for me? I want to read a good werewolf book but can't find any. I have read Patricia Briggs, Rebecca York, Christine Warren. I really want a good one where the werewolves are not evil. I like when they are the main characters. Doesn't have to be a romance.

Eileen Wilks  (romance)

Shelly Laurenston ( She has a wolf, a lion, and a dragon series.  Lion and wolf overlap.)

Sarah A Hoyt  (Draw One in the Dark)

Do you prefer paranormal romance or paranormal/UF?  If you like Patricia Briggs I'm assuming more UF so I'd recommend Kelley Armstrong Women of the Otherworld the 1st 3 (and the best 3) are about werewolves.  The Eileen Wilks  Lupi series changes as it progress from a romance to more of a UF tale. ...needless to say I like the later ones better.  Keri Arthur's Riley Jensen...even though it's definately a steamy book I like them more then most PnR.  Carrie Vauhgn's Kitty series.  I'm sure there are more.  Let me think a bit more and get back to you.

Lorie O'Clare has a couple of series, Lunewulf, Caribou and Malta.  Some of them have menages in them.  Don't know how you feel about that.  In the Caribou series, book Challenged Pursuit, the two brothers have  where their mate has sex with both of them, but it is only one scene.  I would  have tossed if it had been more than that.  In that scene, I just skipped the pages.  I think in the Malta series there are some where the females must mate with three males.  Not for me but some like that in their books.

Jaci Burton  has a series, Devlin Dynasty that has weres in it.  The first one is an anthology Primal Heat (which also has a story by Lorie O'Clare) Running Mate.  The rest of the series is Fall Fury, Mountain Moonlight and in Forbidden Fantasies Legends Passion.

Susan Krinard has a series, not sure of the series title, but they are pretty good.  Mixture of both good and bad; both the good guy and bad guy are wolves.

Annmarie McKenna has a series that is about weres, have never read any though I have  heard they are good.

Shelley Laurenston has a series, Magnus Pack, not exactly weres, but shifter series.  They can change into wolves but not the mixture of both man and wolf.  VERY funny and steamy.  Pack Challenge is the first one.

Most of what I have are weres/shifters that are blended in with others.  N. Singh's Psy/Changling series has Changlings, or shifters. The main shifters is the DarkRiver clan of leopard. Then there is the SnowDancer, which are the wolves.  If you haven't read the series, you just have to check it out.

Sherrilyn Kenyon has some were in her books, again, they are not  just limited to wolves.  Night Play is of wolves, Vane is a wolf shifter and his HEA  is Bride, who is a human and is not your typical heroine, she is a size 18 and one of my favorite stories, Vane is just awesome. Bad Moon Rising is about Fang, Vane's brother, I haven't read it yet, so can't give an opinion.

Unleash the Night is another with a shifter, but Wren is a mixture of tiger and snow leopard.  Dark Side of the Moon has Rayn and Susan, with Rayn being some type of feline. I really liked Wren's story, Rayn's is okay.

Angela Knight series, Mageverse which is King Arthur and the knights of the Round Table are vampires.  There are Direwolves (humans who can change into wolves and a mixture of wolf and human), demons and fae in the series.  Master of the Moon is about the King of the Fae and a human who is also a Direwolf, and Master of Wolves is also about the Direwolf.

Kitty Norvile is a series about weres, I didn't care for it, but that is a personal aspect, many like the series.

Kresly Cole has a series, Immortals After Dark that has them all, weres, vampires, Valkyrie, demon and more.  The weres in it are all good guys, I  think.

That is all I know, hope others can help you.

Thank you... Now just to wait for these books to get posted. It could be a while, since everyone is into vampires and werewolves.

if romance is fine, and shifters that aren't specifically wolves (although some are) definitely check out Nalini Singh's Psy-Changeling series.

Everyone seems to agree on Nalini Singh's Psy-Changeling series so I am going to have to read them. I put them on my wishlist. Hopefully they come in.

Yes I LOVED Nalini Singh's Psy-Changeling series.  I currently have the sixth in my TBR and am waiting on the 7th on my wishlist.  I got the first bunch through Amazon's 4 for 3 deal (still available) and I wasn't dissapointed.  I read the first four on a two week vacation last year.  Good stuff!

A new one I just got into are Tales of the Sazi by C.T Adams and Cathy Clamp. Hunters Moon is the first in that series and it's definatly worth checking out.
