Two gay men pick up and kill a look alike for one of them in an insurance scam. Their success causes them to decide to make a career of this activity. It is up to Detective Sergeant Thorn Savage and his Manhattan South Homicide squad to solve the case before there are even more victims. It is a gritty walk through New Yorks underbelly told by someone who obviously has been there. Its a world where even the potholes are dangerous to your health and you never know what the next day or night will bring. Excellent police procedural.
