You will hear that this is a "modern day Romeo & Juliet." It CLEARLY is. But certainly Shulman holds his own in this story about a world where kids and conflict rule.

This is the novelization of the Broadway musical "West Side Story". The Book was written by Arthur Laurents, the novelization by Irving Shulman. The movie was done from this book. Really Good.
