Life along the Oregon Trail, from the perspective of a nine year old boy.

This book was great for my son who was entering 5th grade. It is a leveled book for into 5th grade, but my son is not a champion reader...and the book and type size were perfect for his needs. He really enjoyed the boook and frequently came to tell me about all the challenges on the ORegon Trail.

Great for an 11 year old reluctant reader. Younger ones can enjoy as well, but I think the older mind really identified with the boy.
