An anthology of 25 "counterfactuals" e.g. "What if Teddy Roosevelt had gotten the Republican Nomination in 1912?" All authors spend a lot of time discussing the facts surrounding the events, most are better historians than fantasy writers, and they have trouble spinning a story about how history would have changed.

My favorite was the last one, "What if Pizzaro had not found Potatos in Peru?"

This is probably best not read in one sitting.
