The next book, Volume Three, of World Made By Hand Series by James Howard Kunstler. PLEEEEEEZZZZZE make it be published in 2012. I wrote to James Kunstler and he wrote back:
The past year I have had to discharge a pain-in-the-ass contract obligation to write a non-fiction book... sort of Long Emergency II. I'm done with it now. The line-edit is on my desk as I write and it comes out in July. ("Too Much Magic: Wishful Thinking Technology, and the Fate of the Nation.")
Then I had to move to another house (Grotesque ordeal).
After new years i aim to settle into WMBH III, which starts just before Christmas in the year that concerns us....

A lot of my favorite series authors (mostly mysteries) have new releases coming up next year, but I won't necessarily be waiting with bated breath for all of them...only those I'm caught up with. Here are a few: Elegy For Eddie: A Maisie Dobbs Novel :: As the Crow Flies: A Walt Longmire Mystery :: The Case of the Deadly Butter Chicken: Vish Puri, Most Private Investigator :: A City of Broken Glass (Hannah Vogel) :: Fun House: A John Ceepak Mystery (Pegasus Crime) :: Also really hoping that Timothy Hallinan will be releasing a new Poke Rafferty book, Colin Cotterill will do another Dr. Siri book and Adrian Hyland will have a new Emily Tempest book out...got fingers crossed!
