This is small book with a great deal of information, from Leif Ericson to the End of the Cold War, written in a very readable style. A nice collection of facts in one place.

This is a really neat book that concisely covers 200 key events and people of American history. It is an enjoyable read, and could also be used as jumping off points for students who want to delve into and study in depth a significant historical event or person.
