I figured that it was Curve, so I bought a year's subscription for $19.95 ($5 cheaper than the official Curve magazine website) off of Amazon.com because it was suggested to me when I logged in to buy a new book.

I read some reviews on the magazine from other readers and they were saying thing like, "Too much L Word" and "Just not a good magazine for Lesbians."

I went ahead and purchased it anyway, in hopes that there was just a slight possibility that I might get some amusement out of it.

Also, I wanted to ask what all magazines, if any, that you all normally get.  I honestly just read the newspaper, so this magazine is the first that I've gotten a subscription to in a few years.  I used to get Reminisce because the stories and stuff were amusing and very interesting, but that was a good while ago.

So, any suggestions Ladies? :P

I was really hoping that someone could help me on this matter.

I would really like to start reading magazines again.  :(

Sorry, I haven't read any lesbian related magazines in ages, so don't have any input.  Good luck!  Let us know if you find out anything...

Amy - I'm not sure.  We subscribed to Curve for about 2 years and I'm not subscribing again.  I think it's gotten a bit better, with more topics of interest to me like parenting, gay weddings, etc. but I'm just not that impressed by it.  I've enjoyed it but don't love it.  I'd be interested to hear what you think!

Girlfriend was a decent Mag...but then I thought Curve was okay as well. I think though for heavier reading, you may want to try something like The Advocate- not strictly a lesbian magazine... but for the entire gay community, more of an around the world news type of thing.

Sothernnyte, They stopped making that Girlfriend Magazine from what I can understand.  The last issue was in March 2006 http://www.girlfriendsmag.com/faq.html#sub
