Recently it seems like I've had a slew of WL books to pop up - I've been spending credits like water LOL.  But some of my WL books don't ever seem to come around!  So I was wondering...what book or books have been on your WL the longest?  Maybe we can help each other out.

Mine is Dunnottar - The Keith Trilogy  followed by Nauti Boy and Swept Away.

The book that's been on my WL longest is Give Me Liberty, by Anne Brock (Suzanne Brockmann)--it'll be two years on Saturday :)

Sherri, I might have an ARC of Swept Away--let me check and get back to you (if an ARC would be OK with you).

A bunch of Mary Baloghs, the first books I put on it. I have also *gotten* quite a few of them, so I'm not complaining.

Wow Fedora - I looked it up on google price match - I can't even find one for less than $30!  I hope it comes around to you eventually.

I have a whole bunch of Georgette Heyer's that have been wishlisted for a year and a half. I am at the 1 or 2 slot on all lists, but those books are just hard to come by. I'm just trying to complete my Georgette Heyer collection.

I actually had no idea and had to look...  It looks like it's Enslaved, Untamed, and Vanquished by Hope Tarr.  Can't wait to see the generous offers come flooding in... LOL.  On the bright side, I can order all three of them in new  to my local Borders store and not spend a fortune.  Well, make that bright sides...  That means I've already gotten lots of other WL books that are much harder or outright impossible to get from a local bookstore.  And it seems like I've been flooded with WL offers lately too.  Must be because I had a bunch of credits burning a hole in my acct:P

Well I just joined in Aug.  I have a few from right around that time: I've had The Heart Breaker by Nicole Jordan on my WL since I pretty much signed up. I'll probably never get it but you never know.  They want quite a bit for them on Ebay.  I don't know why they don't just reissue the book.  She's still a popular author.

Black Sheep and Hidden Beauty, Black Sheep and the Princess and The Great Scot by Donna Kauffman go back to Aug/beg Sept.

Giving Chase by Lauren Dane

Duchess on the Run by Christine Fairchild

I had to go look too.  It's Forever In Time by Barbara Bretton which is just a reissue of 3 of her books that I already have.  I was just thinking that if I could spend one credit and get a 3-in-1 of the books, I could post the 3 I have and make 3 separate credits.  that's only been since August though.

Other than that one, everything else on my small WL is only 2 months old.

Sherri,

I have Naughti Boy in my TBR pile. I will be reading it in the next couple of weeks.  I'm just waiting to receive Naughty Nights to read first.  If you still haven't received it by the time I'm done I can post it to you if you would like.

Jennifer Crusie's OOP books...The Cinderella Deal, Sizzle, and Trust Me On This.

I have had them on my list since the day I joined, 2 years and 2 months ago, lol. I am still not number one. It's more a hope than any real expectation of ever getting them through here. If I really want it bad enough, I'll fork out the money.

I have 2 books from Nicole Jordan that are new releases this year. It's not the long wait but rather a long waiting line for me!

My oldest wishes are the Carla Kelly books Daughter of Fortune, Summer Campaign and Mrs. Drew Plays Her Hand.  The last time I checked on the first two I'd have to pay around $40 to buy them.  (That's apiece.) The third one I have worked my way up to first in line so I have high hopes.

The only books that have been on there longer are Legacy of Stone by Vickie Taylor and Patience by Lisa Valdez.

The Taylor book is the third in a series that I recently heard was cancelled.  I'm leaving it on the list for a while just in case.  Same with the Valdez book.  I'm starting to doubt that it will ever be published.

And of course, the books that haven't been on there as long but I am so far back I can't see daylight are some erotica.  I just took some of them off because I didn't think there was really any chance.
