So I post a book to PBS with 16 members wishing. What are the odds that the next one up is someone that I've *met* on the net? Out of four books listed and wished I had two familiar names, the other one being Genie.

Well shoot Cathy - Did you post those books directly to the WL's of  people you know - especially Genie??  Then it would be no brainer!   wink Otherwise, that is pretty amazing! OR, now that I think on it...maybe there really is a very small percentage of members looking for those kind of books  - and we all know what Genie reads! uh oh!  blush winkdevil

Jeanne, no all coincidence. I tried looking for books to post to member's WL and didn't find any. The one for Genie surprised me a lot as it was such an obscure book.

Doesn't surprise me a bit if it went to Genie. Where in the world do you people FIND these books???? We should be thankful here on this forum that we have members like you who keep us informed! yes

it was such an obscure book.

What she means is that it's an obscure naughty book. LOL. And I think it's been on my WL with no movement for about 2 years.

So, I was shocked to get the offer, and then when I got 3 more offers on its heels (and 2 more today!), I began to suspect foul play. Big loser contest and all. Let's test Genie's willpower. I wouldn't put this past Valli at all. wink

Genie, you wouldn't believe how shocked I was to see it pop up as wanted as soon as I listed the damn thing. And don't say I didn't warn ya it wasn't such a hot book to read. Not as squicky as the Savage books, but it definitely has the male fantasy sex things going at times. You know, stopping to have hot sex in the dungeon instead of worrying about getting the hell out of there kind of stuff.

I might add that any books I listed last weekend WERE NOT on my TBR pile. I've had books I've been sitting on until I got point poor again. I still can't get over Sarah's name popping up for my *sendee* for Pindar Daughter.

Jerelyn, Storm Within by David Hillier. Review on my blog or Amazon.

Genie's a librarian, so I'm not surprised she can dig out the good stuff (yes, I realize I have an obvious bias here too)

But an obscure naughty book?  Sounds delicious devil
