Life is rough sometimes, and Sharie is learning what that's all about in this easy-read chapter book. She'd rather eat liver and onions than go to piano lessons, and she dreads the thought of playing in a recital. Her older sister, Sandra, is bossy but beautiful, while Sharie wears thick, ugly glasses, her hair looks like it's been plugged into a 200-volt live wire, and she's broken out in a rash! On top of all that, her dad is out of town and her mom has to work so hard. There is one thing that would really brighten Sharie's dayto ride the Scream-a-Rama at Joyland!
