This book read like every other 'Regency Romance' book. Hero looking for wife; Heroine not interested and has a hidden agenda (that is, from the Hero); meet at a house party; fall in love,but fight it; get together for a happily ever after. No spoiler, this story does have a few surprises. Read when you want a book that you can skim through and not miss a beat. There are two more in the series. The plot thickens.
