Yesterday and today, two different people ordered off me and the orders went to someone else.  This has been happening alot.  It's happened to me when I have ordered off someone too.  Anyone have any idea what's going on?  Has anyone else had this problem  or is it just me?

Are you sure they're actually ordering from you?  It's most likely that they're going to your list of books, then clicking on the book title and clicking Order from there, which will have them requesting from the next person in line and not you.  In order to request directly from someone's shelf the request must be placed from the member's list of books, not the individual book's details page.  If you're absolutely positive that the ordering is taking place on the bookshelf page then there might be a glitch, but I'd be willing to bet it's just the mixup of which Order button has been clicked.  You can ask them to cancel the accidental requests and try again.

They are ordering from my bookshelf.  And they have both canceled and tried again.  One had to try three times before the order went to me.  The other, I asked her after it happened again to make sure it was ordered from me. 

If they're doing the same thing and getting different results then it's something you might want to bring up with TPTB by using the Contact Us link at the bottom of the screen.  It could be a glitch.  Glad it worked out for you, even if it did take three tries.

I was definitely on her shelf when I ordered. I often participate in deals and know that I have to make orders directly from that person's bookshelf. However, this morning, I ordered from Leslie's shelf but the order went to another member. Very strange.........  never had that happen before. Luckily, Leslie was on her toes and informed me that she did not get the order so I cancelled the wrong order and reordered (the same way), this time the order went to the correct member (Leslie).

Definitely a bit of a glitch going around then, yeah?  I've referred quite a few people to the feedback link today, I hope they're not getting sick of me lol.

It;s happened to me too.  Twice.  I had to cancel the orders and re-order.

Shelley we looked and you did go to the Book Details page from Leslie's bookshelf the first time.

The other member did the same thing.

Looks like you both looked at the rollover (the popup information about the book) - Shelley went to the book details page from there, but the other member did not.   Clicking Order This Book in the rollover (popup)  is the same as ordering from the Book Details page--it is not the same button as the one on the Bookshelf itself.

This also happens when the first sender (the one the requestor ordered from directly) declines the request (eg for Requestor Conditions) - the request gets passed along into the general membership (to the first copy in FIFO) when the sender declines.

I had a similar thing happen earlier in the week, I posted a WL book, it went pending, I always look at who is the person because I like to look at their WL to see what else I may have to offer them, in this case I am reading the next two in the series right away and thought if they had them on their list I would ask if they would like me to post the next two directly saving me postage, and sure enough she had the next two books on her WL.   Later that day around noon I got an email saying that book and another were requested, but when I logged on only the one showed up to print wrapper, this book still showed pending.  I check and it was the same gal, so I waited again.  That night around 8pm I get another email saying it's been requested, I check and it's a totally different person.  None of this showed up in my Transaction archive.

I feel a bit bad that maybe the gal might have missed out on her WL book, but what can you do?
