Patricia Gardner Evans - her last book was published in 1998?

Judith Duncan - her last book was published in 2001?

I enjoyed the books by both authors and wondered if anyone knows anything about them and why they quit writing?

Patricia Gardner Evans, from what I remember, was a board member for Romance Writers Assn. She was formally expelled by the board in 2002 for dissenting with leadership about the running of the organization. Eileen Wilks resigned from the board in protest. I'm not sure what happened after that but I felt bad since it seemed her issue was the 'unofficial' support of new writers with publishers who became members of the organization. I don't know details but that was the gist. I'm assuming she hasn't felt the desire to publish since.

Someone posted a similar thread a while ago asking about authors.  Judith Duncan was one of them.  I did some research and couldn't find out anything by her.  I used to read her Harlequin Superromances and Silhouette Special Editions.

Me too Susanna. She said on her website she had a new Seattle series coming out, but that was almost two years ago and I can't find anything else.

Anyone know what happened to Dallas Schulze?  She wrote The Substitute Wife, which I loved, and then nothing.

She's got a website Ani but I don't see anything current there.  The now available page has books that were published over a year ago.  There is a contact link there, maybe try that and see what's going on?

I love Marianne Stillings.  She wrote a short in this ebook anthology so maybe she'll get a new publishing contract or publish her own:  Romance in the Rain (Six Seattle Novellas) by Kristine Cayne, Sherri Shaw, Clare Tisdale and Charlotte Russell (Oct 11, 2012)

Yes I read that Mary, and that book was supposed to be the kick off of her new series based in that era. *sigh* I hope we get it, because that is a unique era to write in.
