Yesterday morning I had a WL book come up on my list. I was on the way out the door so I responded to the book when I got home last evening. This morning, the book is GONE. It doesn't show up on my account, it's not in my Transaction Archive. NOW it is on my WL in the #2 slot. To complicate matters, another book IS on my Transaction list but that one never showed up on my Account! The book was "Canceled by Sender" but now it's completely gone from all my lists. It is a book that I want and it WAS on my WL but now it's nowhere but my Transaction Archive list. :( What went wrong??

LeeAnne, Do you have RCs? The other member may have declined if the book didnt meet your conditons. You may have been first for that book when it was offered to you because someone else who is wishing for it, had their account on Vacation Hold. When they took their account off of hold, they were put back in the number one spot. For the book that does show up on your Transaction Archive, hover your cursor over the red X on the listing for that book on your Transaction Archive, and click on the Details button. That will give you more information on what happened with that swap. Cheryl |

I had 2 books canceled after being sent yesterday. I contacted both senders & so ar only 1 got back with me. She said she had sent the book & didn't know why it said that. I think the system had issues yesterday. |

They might be tinkering with the site again. Every time they work on a change it's wacky just before. Someone else posted about being offered the same WL book twice at the same time. |

Look at your Club Communications page. You can see all the emails that PBS sent you about any transaction there. Sometimes it helps to see them in the original order that they were sent. Also look at the details for each request. If you see that something happened just after 3:00 AM, then it was done by the system. |

I had something like this happen this week, too. A book that was on my wish list became available, but I didn't get an email, and it didn't show up on my account page. Then after 48 hours I get an email saying it timed out because I didn't log in and accept it. The book went to my transaction archive, and it was gone from my wish list completely. Luckily I was the only one wishing for it and was able to order it. I emailed PBS admins, but they said it was my fault for not logging into my account during that 48 hours, although I did 5 or 6 times. I told them that, but haven't heard back from them again. I hope this doesn't happen often. |
