This is a terrific book and is very interactive. The art and writing is outstanding! There are actual ribbons in the colors of the rainbow . When the child opens to the first page there is a red ribbon and as the page is turned you can see the ribbon rainbow colors being "added" Page two has red and orange ribbon, etc. The 2.5 yr old does not try to destroy the book and at the end of the book is a paper pop-up rainbow.
