On November 19th I received a book that should never have been posted. I marked it RWAP and explained the damage to the sender in the message. She contacted me five days later on the 24th to say: "I sent the book in the condition that I received it from after buying it at a bookstore, reading it once, storing it in a box in my house, and then I unearthed it, posted it and swapped it." She requested that I send her digital photos of the damage. I sent them to her on November 30th. http://www.flickr.com/photos/surrealthemuse/sets/72157610532595716/ These are the pictures I sent. Since then I have heard nothing. Keeping in mind how long it took her to respond to my first message, it occurred to me that she may not have computer access every day. I waited till December 10th to send her another message, again including the link to the pictures and asking for my credit back. I also informed her that if I had not heard back from her by the 15th I would be marking the transaction unresolved. I've still heard nothing from her. She does not have a public profile but her bookshelf does not appear to be on hold. I've waited long enough, right? I've never had to do this before. Also (sorry this kind of turned into a rant) when I went to mark it unresolved I noticed that along with the option of saying that the person did not resolve the problem, there is also an option to say that the person did not respond to PM asking to discuss this. Can I pick the second one? Technically she responded to me, once, but there has been no discussion.
