When I go in and edit book data - add book description and then do the Spell Check - it comes up with Enable SCAYT and also 'check spelling'.  I always check the 'check spelling' option, but what is the "Enable SCAYT' option?  Thanks.  Pat

You guys don't just cut and paste the descriptions from a different web page? And then remove the formatting? I only type maybe 1 out of 30 or 40 book edits.

Linda - thanks.  Wasn't sure what it stood for so didn't want to click on it.

Sara P. - I don't cut and paste usually, as I have the book right in front of me, and I enjoy typing.  To do the c&p I'd have to go to Amazon, etc., and to me it's just as time consuming.  LOL. Pat

In my browser, I just keep a goodreads tab open and a PBS tab open and switch. Easy peasy. Takes me about 10 seconds to do the search in the goodreads tab and grab the info, click the other  tab, then paste.

I also do most of my edits on books I don't have, though.
