just wondering what is the proper proceude when sending mail c/o like here is (on paperback swap_)
jone done c/o mr smith 100 main street anywhere, ca 90066 but when using paypal shipping they do Jane done 100 main street c/o Mr smith anywhere ,ca 90066 which is the correct procedure or does it matter? thanks for any help! |

The first example would be the most correct but I doubt it will make much difference on a package. Mail is delivered as addressed unless the carrier has a reason not to. It could conceivably cause a delay with a letter because machines sort letters into delivery sequence and look for the address in the line above the city state ZIP line but I'm not 100% sure it even make a difference there either. |

The first format would be correct Mark. IIRC, USPS reads addresses from the bottom up, so the info should read in the order necessary for delivery: City/State (on the bottom), then address, and addressee above that.
