I finished reading Stolen Charms by Adele Ashworth.  It made me smile.

I also finished Atlantis Rising by Alyssa Day - the first in her series.  loved it.  Just got online at Amazon to buy the sequel.  I know she's going to tease me and not do Alaric's story until the end.  But all of the warriors of Poseidon seem yummy.  So if anyone wants this (it has a WL), let me know since I like gifting the books to folks I've been chatting with in the forums.

Ooh Susan, Atlantis Rising was a good book!  The second one is just as good!

I'm reading a new author to me - Jennifer Crusie.  Its a book called Getting rid of Bradley and I love it!  It is laugh out loud funny and the relationship between the H/H is great.

I stayed up much too late to finish off Too Much Temptaion by Lori Foster.

Now, I'm on to a Christmas anthology called The Night Before Christmas with short stories by Lori Foster,  Erin McCarthy, Kathy Love, Jill Shalvis, Kylie Adams, and Katherine Garbera.  I've never read some of those authors before but the book sounded so good.  Just glad it got here in time for Christmas.  The sender marked it mailed and then actually mailed in 12 days later.  It finally arrived yesterday.

I brought some christmas anthologies with me but haven't read them yet! almost done with 'the real deal' bylucy monroe and I'm liking it! the woman in this one is insecure with her weight/appearance because of her family and exhusband and the male interest is superbody karate guy but is like a nerd genius! I'm enjoying it so far!

I finished Hundreds of Years to Reform A Rake by Laurie Brown this morning.  Loved the hero! I wanted more of him.

I haven't decided what to start next.  I have several that are WL.  Maybe I'll just close my eyes and pick one.

I have Atlantis Rising and Getting Rid of Bradley in my TBR pile so I'm glad that they seem to be good books. I just finished Together by Christmas/CJ Carmichael and The Cursed One/Ronda Thompson--I get to the epilogue in the latter one and there is a half-brother who is married to a character introduced in the second book of the trilogy! So of course I go right to the author's website to find out where this missing story is. Lo and behold, it's a novella in an anthology--thankfully it was posted in the system here! Authors just love to throw us curves, don't they?

Now, I'm reading In the Dark by Marliss Melton and of course it is good! After this, I will just be waiting on her newest one to come out!

Well I absolutely have to recommend Getting Rid of Bradley by Jennifer Crusie.  I just finished it and honestly, I have never laughed so hard in my life.  Its a romance but with unbelievable comedy thrown in.  The hero is too sexy and when you throw in her "3 dumb dogs", her viciously crazy sister, and the psycho cat next door, you will be up late into the night trying to finish it!

Sherri, someone had recommended Getting Rid of Bradley to me a long time ago, but I never got it, now I'm going to have to, lol!

I read Underfoot and Footloose by Leanne Banks this weekend. All 3 books in the series were good, but she can't be done with it! Brooke Tarintino is still running around single and stupid and she's been in all 3 books. I can't find any info about there being more books in the Bellagio series, very frustrating!

Now I'm going to read Beware of Doug by Elaine Fox, I heard it's really cute:)

I started Waking up in Charleston by Sherryl Woods this evening. So far it's good. A nice easy read which I'm definitely needing right now.

I'm reading Crazy In Love by Kristan Higgins.  It's ok. I'm not big on books in the 1st person.  I like getting the hero's perspective too.  But I'm not that far into it so we'll see.  I got it as part of an ebay book bundle and it turned out to be WL. So I thought I'd give it a read.  I was in the mood for a light hearted contemporary.   The heroine lives in a small Maine fishing village. She's desperate to find loved but the pool of eligible, non-related men where she lives is limited.  She's in love with the new priest (apparently he's young and gorgeous).  It's unrequitted-not that kind of novel.  So I don't know who the "hero" end up being.  I think she ends up falling in love with the town loner but I'm not sure.

yeah! I fnished 'the real deal' bylucy monroe and enjoyed it! I wish I'd read it before reading 'Deal with This' but had no idea they were related. Jillian from 'deal with this' is in this one in a few places as the woman's friend and then the people from 'the real deal' appear in 'deal with this' a little bit also. they can be read alone but i'd rather have read this one first!

might read a christmas anthology next...

Last night I started Midnight Awakening the 3rd book in Lara Adrian's Breed series.  (This is Tegan's story)  So far its good - a bit different and more dark than the other two were but still good.

Merry Christmas everyone!

I finally got a chance to read. It's a bargain book  I tossed in when I was ordering Christmas presents. Wouldn't you know it's the only part of the order that's shown up. The part with Christmas presents has a "rescheduled delivery" of 12/27. I am so annoyed. Anyway........ the book is Play With Me by Janice Maynard. It's 3 connected short stories about 3 friends celebrating their 29th birthdays who make a pact to act on a secret fantasy before they turn 30. It wasn't as steamy as you might think but it was good and an easy read which was what I needed.

Finished up Shadow Hawk -- wow, what a story!  What heat!  What abs!  I can see what all the fuss has been about. :)

Also read What She Really Wants for Christmas by Debbi Rawlings, and while it was a good, engaging Blaze, it was an extremely sad one that the back synopsis didn't allude to:  abused spouses, psycho ex-boyfriends, alcoholic fathers, blackmailing ... and oh yeah, some sex!  It says something about the author that I finished up the story although I felt bait-and-switched, so I'll definitely try one of her other books and hope it contains something more lighthearted!

Next up is another Blaze, The P.I. by Cara Summers!

Judy, you'd better have 'the cop' and 'the defender' handy after reading the PI..they all tie in together!

well, I fnished the lucy monroe story in ' merry christmas, baby' 'silver bella'. These are pretty short stories and turns out this is about the brother of Lise and sister of Joshua from 'Ready'!  They're the couple in 'Ready' which starts that other series of hers. I seem to keep getting her books out of order! Now I'm reading 'Snow Day' by susanna Carr in the same anthology-6 stories in one book but it's a tradesize so not 'too' tiny but still very short! But I need some m indless reading so I don't have to concentrate much.

Just finished Midnight Man by Lisa Marie Rice.  I enjoyed it.  A very quick read. Now I just need to get the other two in the series.

Next I think I'll read the Erin Mcarthy story in An Enchanted Season.  I bought in for the Nalini Singh story and so far that's the only one I've read.

I finished off my Night Before Christmas anthology tonight.  Pretty good short stories.

I haven't decided what I'm reading next, probably on to the Justine Davis I've been wanting to read.

I've had Edge of Danger and Into Thin Ice by Cherry Adair in the TBR pile forever.  One of these days I'll get to them.  I bought 4 Blaze books today at Walmart. They were marked down and 50% off the markdown.  The new Jan ones.  I couldn't resist.  And if you see my post about At Your Command you'll understand why I grabbed that one. Hubba Hubba.
