I just started reading Running Wild by Sarah McCarty- 3 werewolf stories all connected. I've only seen historical westerns by her so I was intrigued. It's good!

Wonderful discovery -- I have Diamond Bay and Midnight Rainbow in a together book.  Midnight Rainbow is about Grant - who is also in Diamond Bay.  Wish I'd realized.  So, I can give up my Midnight Rainbow if anyone wants it.  I'm reading Grant's story now.

I'm reading a Silhouette Nocturne, Scions:  Insurrection by Patrice Michelle.  I got it in a swap so I thought I'd try it before passing it along.  It's book 2 in a series and it's a paramormal.  H is a werewolf.  Not sure about it yet.

I'm reading a cozy--Pick Your Poison by Leann Sweeney--the first book in her Yellow Rose series. So far pretty good but slow moving--I guess I'm just used to romantic suspense books where things tend to happen more quickly.

I've still been cleaning out and reorganizing my bookshelves which always puts me in a rereading mood.  I reread The Spanish Bride by Georgette Heyer (fabulous book), Summer's Awakening by anne Weale, and Dark Pursuit by Charlotte Lamb ( a long time fave).

Now I have started Grave Surprise by Charlaine Harris. I am really getting into the whole Charlaine Harris thing.  Loved, loved the Lily Bard series and moved on to this Harper Connolly series.  Loving it.  I have all the Sookie Stackhouse books except the latest so I will have to try those next I guess.

Brenda - I have Redeeming Love in my TBR pile - I've heard its fantastic.

I finished up...finally...Bad Boys Southern Style and the last story was fairly good.  Wish they all could have been!  I also read another anthology called Where's My Hero? by Lisa Kleypas/Julia Quinn/Kinley Macgregor.  It was pretty good.  I'm not a big fan of regency (two stories were this genre) but all in all it was good.

Now I'm reading Enchanted by Elizabeth Lowell.  So far so good.

wow some of ya'll are reading stuff I have in my TBR pile so no buying temptation LOL! I have the Scions books 1 & 2,  Leann Sweeney's books(book 5 is in the TBR pile but read the other 4), I'm up to book 3, shakespeare's christmas, in the lily bard series by harris,  and I"m pretty sure I have midnight rainbow but not sure about the other book that's with it...

I'm still reaidng 'rv there yet?' by diann hunt..didn't read after work this morning since I had to get to sleep and wake up by 3 and do our quilt handoff thingy. came straight to wrok from there. The other books I brouht in to possible start next are: gold in the fire by margaret daley (love inspired that's 1st in a series that I read one of the later books in and liked so thought I'd try another then maybe get the series...), the I hate to date club by elda minger( a harlequin next title), hip to be square by hope lyda(hey it jumped out at me!), and back on blossom street by debbie macomber..I guess my selections are relatively mild which is unusual for me LOL! might make a trip out to the car for something else but I think these will do since we'll probalby get busy and I'll be lucky to finish the lat 100 pages or so in the rv book...

Susanna - you must have the biggest TBR pile known to mankind! lol  Edited to add:  I'm also reading some books that Susanna was nice enough to loan me - Real Men Do it Better (I really wanted to read the Lora Leigh story) and Riding Wild by Jaci Burton.  But I'm thinking I may need an erotica break and so I may start Shakespeare's Landlord by Charlaine Harris this week.

I put down the cozy and picked up Nightkeeprs by Jessica Andersen. I went to Borders this evening and they're doing their buy 4 get the 5th romance free deal, so of course, I got 5 books, and Nightkeepers is one of them! *Happy Anniversary to me!* :) I haven't gotten very far into it, but it looks like it should be a good book.

Oh Shari I really want to get that book as well!  This whole Mayan prophecy stuff sounds intriguing.  I just read an ARC of Eternal Pleasures by Nina Bangs with a similar premise.

I'm finishing up His Dark and Dangerous Ways. Not super thrilling, but didn't make me want to drop dead from boredom, as some of her recent books have done.  It's dull in the way almost all Regency spy stories are dull, but the running gag of the hero in disguise is kind of fun.

Susan, I think I do have the biggiest hugest most unorganized TBR pile known to man :-( and it's overwhelming at times.  I keep saying I need to go through and organzie them but last time all I did was move about 20 boxes to the closet and 20 more downstairs to take their place! I did get most of theBlaze titles in plastic containers under the bed but there are more that keep cropping up! and darn the publishers they keep printing more and more books all the time!

I think I'm on an erotica break myself..only so much of that I can take in a row! Most of what I have with me tonight is tame..I did bring in shakespeare's christmas since it's a l ibrary book but the theme of that one looks really dark..deals with a kid missing for 8 yrs and has already 'hinted' at pervert stuff or at least I'm afraid that will show up..I like this series though and want to finish so guess I'll have tosuck it up and get through it!

Reading Paradise Wild by Johanna Lindsey. Not sure if I like it though. Typical Lindsey hero, already sleeping with a mistress, plans to be a jerk to the heroine. We'll have to see how it goes.

I couldn't finish Circle of Fire, so I'm going to start Feral Magnetism by Lacey Savage.

Ooo, lucky Trish!

I wound up liking His Dark and Dangerous Ways, though I couldn't help thinking about how much better it could have been, and probably would have been if she'd written it 20 years ago. Ah well.

Well I finished 'rv there yet?' by diann hunt. it was pretty good, like christian hen-lit I guess is how I'd describe it. The first half went very slow then it got pretty good the 2nd half...could easily have a sequel!

sfields,

Read Paradise Wild years ago and felt the same way! I still have it on my shelf, but mostly because I'm chicken when it comes to weeding out books! I keep telling myself, you may want to reread it. Not!

I have reading ADD right now. Can't settle on anything. Maybe it's because I'm haunting the forums too much. I did start Jacob, which I like so far. But I also went out and bought a bunch, including Secrets of Surrender, the new Hunter, Lost Duke of Wyndham, which I wasn't gonna buy, but the premise intrigued me and the heroine is named Grace! I also bought that Nightkeepers book because it looks interesting and See Jane Score because of the hockey discussion. Bah! Book buying binge!

I finally settled on 'shakespeare's christmas' and got about halfway through before the boss came in. I might have to stay up before snoozing and finish it! not sure 'cause I'm pretty tired but maybe after taking the doggies out and getting a quick shower I'll feel more awake...
