still reading a quilting mystery by arlene sachitano ' quilt as desired'..so far it's pretty good though very heavy on the quilting which I happen to like! :-) I see she's written another book( mystery) called 'chip and die' or something like that but it's not showing up on here in the database but amazon has it used...it deals with a corporate mystery or something like that. I met her at quilt festival thursday and bought this book so I'm setting a record by starting it that same day! think it's starting a series. one thing they can count on -quilters not only quilt but we love to read about our hobby and eat while we read..hershey's and publishers will never go out of busines!

not sure what I'll read when Ifinish this one..have plenty of other stuff and leaning towards anothe rmystery by nancy bartholomew'drag strip' but not sure if I wanna start that one or switch to something with more romance. the one I'm reading now has some romance but it's not the focus and not much going on with it 'cause the guy is 10plus yrs younger and he has no problem with it but she does as well as other women in town!

I'm back to my 3-in-1 Silhouette Intimate Moments.  I keep getting distracted by other books coming in so I'm still not done with the first story.

That's a good one Cyndi!   I just finished Do You Take This Enemy by Sara Orwig and it was great.  Its a marriage of convenience story between two families who have been fighting for 3 generations but the H/H decide to marry to alleviate a concern one of them have.  I won't spill the details but it  was really good.

I finished the Kresley Cole book, Wicked Deeds On a Winter's Night.  It was better than the second book but not quite as good as A Hunger Like No Other, which I think will always be one of my favorite books.  But it was a good read.

Now I think I will start Smart Mouth by Erin McCarthy.  I have a stack of hers on the TBR and they always seem to be in demand so I need to read some and get them moving.

Okay, I finished up "Special Report" by Merline Lovelace, Maggie Price, and Debra Cowan.  It was good once I got into it!  3 interconnected stories, revolving around the hijacking of a plane by a criminal.  At only 250 pages, each story was pretty short.  I was wishing they were 3 longer books because the stories definitely had that potential.

I am re-reading another book, The Stud by Barbara Delinsky. I read it a few years ago, and thought it was cute, and it is. I'll finish it up today.

I'm going to the library, they finally have the Johanna Lindsey I've been waiting for, The Devil Who Tamed Her, so I'll probably read that next.

Then, who knows?

I just finished White Heat by Jill Shalvis.  I think I might read Blue Flame next.  I'm kicking myself over this one.  I didn't notice when I received it on here as a WL book that it had water dmg.  It's not much but I can't repost it and looking at it right now annoys me because this is the 3rd book that I've received from here that's WL but unpostable and I didn't notice until well after marking it received.  I need to get over the trauma first.  I might finish Just Wicked Enough. I started it last week and then moved on to White Heat because I was in a fireman mood.

In the love and romance category, do you prefer modern romance, historical romance, time travel romance, or  what? I've got some great time travel romances by Constance Oday Flannery.

Just took some time and went through my TBR list. Tonight I think I am going to read "The last Duck" by Andrea Kane.  I have never read any of her books.  I will let ya know what I think.

Have any of you read her?                  Talk to you in the morning! Lori

I've heard of Andrea Kane but don't recall reading anything by her..isn't she sorta suspense?

I read part of  a harlequini ntrigue 'secret of deadman's coulee'..it's the first in a series about whitehorn montana and I started with teh 2nd in the series 'new deputy in town' a few months ago so wnted to go back since characters in this one are in the 2nd and dont' want to get totally behind and out of order cause these 2definitely have characters continuing on in the next books seems like.

I started on Christmas Proposals: Her Christmas Romeo\The Tycoon's Christmas Engagement\A Bride For Christmas last night.  I'm mostly thru the first story and it's good.  I'm trying to get into the Christmas spirit.

Last night I finished reading Kidnapped  by Jo Leigh and I know some of you said it was violent but I thought it was okay in that department, I liked the story.  Now I'm reading another Blaze called Feeling the Heat by Rhonda Nelson.

I finished How to Abduct a Scottish Lord by Karen Hawkins, the first in her series about the MacLeans and their weather curse.  It was a fun, quick read.  I've already read the second in the series and I'm anxiously the third book which has yet to be released.

I just received Hidden Agendas by Lora Leigh and I may start that next.

I love Andrea Kane.   I haven't read anything from her in awhile but I remember the Black Diamond, The Gold Coin, The Silver Coin and the Emerald Garden.  All good reads that I own.  Historical romances with a mystery element.
