I started A Fool and HIs Honey by Charlaine Harris. I thought I had skipped the book where the bad stuff goes down, but it looks this is the one, darn it.

I am reading the lastest Carla Kelly, My Loving Vigil Keeping.   Really weird choice for a book title.  Really great book.  A three hankie read for me.

I'm reading Hot in Handcuffs (anthology with Shayla Black, Sylvia Day & Shiloh Walker).  I finished the Shayla Black story and it was typical for an erotic anthology.  About halfway through the Sylvia Day story and WHEW it's HOT HOT HOT.  Very, very good.  The chemistry between Jared and Darcy is smoking.

I also read Lisa Marie Rice's A Fine Specimen and I was very disappointed.  Most of her books are very similar but I love them... this one was outside of her norm and I didn't like it much at all.

Finished the NR book and my gosh that was such a great read. Very unexpected and had a darker edge to it that I really liked. Started Shades of Grey and that scene with PJ, dang that was a hard scene to read. Had tears in my eyes when they got to her. Sherri, that is one of absolute fav series of hers and of course Harry is my absolute favorite working man. :-)

I'm reading Iced.

I believe you all have gotten me to seriously consider the KGI series with all the talk about Shades of Grey.

I'm reading Awakened by Brenda K. Davies, a Kindle freebie that's surprisingly good.

Isn't it sad how freebies are always "surprisingly" good these days? So much self-pubbed crap out there...

Awakened turned out pretty good except nobody seems to know the difference between too and to.

Now I'm reading In the Arms of the Wind by Charlotte Boyett-Compo.

I finished Jami Alden's Caught and am now going to start Kept. Im excited to read the third one about Danny.

I also read a Belle Andre novella today, Candy Store. It was a fast, fun read.

I was feeling kind of at a loose end after finally finishing an obligatory review, so I read a sexy short story, Return to Sender. Funny and hot. Now I'm at a loose end again.

Just finished Chance of a Lifetime by Jodi Thomas.  I love her books, but I don't know if I will contiue this series.  This one was predictable, to say the least.  And not very interesting overall.

Missy, I've read the first in that series, and I have the third. I'm ever-so-patiently waiting to get the second one though. Lol I liked it too.

I just finished Iced. Hmmmm. Definitely not sure what to make of some of that. I've read some speculation on line that Ryo is Dani's dad. There's only one scene that is making me think that can't be right. It's right after they have to warm her up. I did like it though. Now the wait for Burned.

And now I'm reading Once Burned by Jeanine Frost.

I finished Hot in Handcuffs.  LOVED the Sylvia Day story.  Whew.  Scorching chemistry.  The Shiloh Walker story was very haunting and beautiful, in a gory way (considering they were tracking a murderer..lol).  Overall, very pleased with an anthology for once!

Now I'm reading Caden's Vow by Sarah McCarty.  None of these books have lived up to how awesome the first one was (LOVED Caine), but I love these Hells Eight guys.

Just finished Twice Bitten by Chloe Neill and it was good. Still reading A Night Like This by Julia Quinn. Next up will be Shadow by Laurann Dohner, love that series!

Ewwww...Tonya I hope that doesn't turn out to be the story line for Dani, because then we are talking incest...that would be the vibe I would get if that was the storyline.  PJ and Cole's story ended up being a 3 star for me...couldn't get past the TSTL moment by them both. I started Loretta Chase's Knave's Wager and so far it has been pretty good. I agree Michelle on Hell's 8, I loved the first 3 books and then it sort of fell off, but I still love those guys.

Well, I've been reading as much as I can find about Iced and the upcoming books. I just read an interview with KMM and she said we won't find out anything about Dani's father. So that's not it. Whew!

I just read Caine's Reckoning last week. I loved it too. It looks like after the first four, which were Spice books, they went to Harlequin (something-or-other). I was wondering if those were as good as the Spice books.

I finished what has become one of my top KA favorites, Heaven and Hell (Heaven and Hell, #1). I felt a special kinship with Kia; we thought alike. And now I'm totally psyched for the next book of the series, which, of course, has an undetermined pub date. :/

Today I'm moving on to Lorelei James' Wrangled and Tangled (Blacktop Cowboys, Bk 3).

Gina: I loved Heaven and Hell too. It's my second favorite book of hers with Lady Luck being first.

STOP with the KA talk!  lol    I finished the Colorado Mountain series and I'm trying to pace myself by reading other things, but it's like ignoring the elephant in the room... impossible!  Rebecca, Lady Luck has been my fave so far, too, with Motorcycle Man a close second.

Funny, Lady Luck is probably one of my least favorites. Of course, saying I have a least favorite KA book is like saying I have a least favorite brand of chocolate — they're all good. I think The Gamble will always top my list because it was the first one I read.
