I finished The Lady Who Broke the Rules, an interesting Regency with a freed slave for a hero. That's something you don't see every day! I don't know how plausible it was, but it was good. Part of a continuity series, but stood alone okay.

Missy - I just heard about that book & it got really good reviews.  Can't wait to read it!

I'm reading Captain Durant's Countess by Maggie Robinson.  Not what I'm in the mood for, but I have to get it done for a review.

I finished Anna Campbell's Seven Nights in a Rogue's bed and I really liked it. I also finished a Dr. Siri mystery. I started Lorraine Heath's Pleasure's of a Nortorious Gentleman. Melissa, I have seen the reviews for Sins and Needles, not sure that it is my cuppa. Although I just started her Experiment in Terror series and really liked the first book.

Sins and Needles was amazing. I cant wait until the next one is out. It definitely wont be everyone's cuppa. Lots of con artist action, casinoes and mafia....lol....but very fast paced and pretty much non stop action (the sexy kind and the guns and high speed chasing kind). And come on, a tattoo artist hero....YUM.

I started Hard to Love by Kendall Ryan, last night. Only about 20% into it but its been entertaining so far.

Over the weekend I finished A Lady by Midnight, which I really liked. I loved the ending. Then I read Annabelle's Courtship, which I loved! Ian was amazing. The only thing I found annoying was the bad guys. They just wouldn't go away. Followed them to Scotland even. I think Ian made up for that though. Now I need to read Ascension by Caris Roane to send it out.

Turn to You by Claire Matthews is my latest read.  Could have been great but everything happened way too fast.

Finished Hard to Love and enjoyed it.

I started reading Rule by Jay Crownover but I really dont know yet if i'll finish it. The editing is horrendous. It says on Amazon 'newly edited' but I bought my copy (kindle) awhile back and havent gotten an update on it. The hero is YUM and I am really enjoying the heroine so far, but man I dunno if im going to be able to read the whole thing if its all this bad. And im only 15% into it.  frown

I finished the book I was reading.  Captain Durant's Countess.  I'm always leery reading a review book because it's not always a book of MY choosing, kwim?  Plus I had never read anything by Maggie Robinson before. I was very pleasantly surprised.  I was still feeling somewhat iffy about it halfway through, but I absolutely loved the second half.

still reading Kristen Ashley's Lady Luck (Tty's better LOL and I always liked Lexie from the beginning). not sure which others of hers to read- think I missed some. so far the only one I didn't like much was Creed and taht was only for the backstory they kept flashing back to though Ty got on my nerves too a few times along with the crooked cops in the town. I still have 2 books left in this colorado series - I've read knight and creed and the 4 dream man books(loved those) I think there's another series that ties with some of these but havne't checked those out yet.

Melissa, I'm reading Rule right now too and I got the new version. It's fine and so far I've only come across one mistake.

Finished up The Girl in the Clockwork Collar by Kady Cross and was disappointed.  Not sure if I'll continue that series or not.

Finished Heath's PofaWE and finished her Waking up with the Duke, didn't see how that one was going to work out, but she did a wonderful job with it. Very satisfying read. Started the Be Mine anthology with Victoria Dahl.

Im about 80% into Rule. Loving it now that I dont have to put up with the god awful editing.  Rule is definitely drool worthy.

I finished Rule and am looking forward to the next book. I also finished Rush by Maya banks and liked it too. I'm trying to not start trilogies until they're done but I just couldn't help myself.

The next book?    crying

I didnt realize it wasnt going to be a stand alone.  Why does there always have to be a next book?

I think it's either money or not having to think up all new ideas. The next books is about Ayden and Jet.
