Reading Along Came Trouble by Ruthis Knox. Not liking it as much as her other books, the characters just aren't grabbing me.

I've just started Rock Chick Regret. I just finished Reckoning and I liked it after I got through the first third of it. Great epilogue.

Been reading Bubba Snoddy mysteries by CL Bevill and finished 2, 3 and 4. I also read Alissa Johnson's Practically Wicked all pretty good reads.

I'm reading Rock Chick Redemption and I also started The Darkest Hour - the first KGI book.

Finished Rescue My Heart by Shalvis- it was ok.  I feel like I have already read that plot in one of her previous books though- same story, different characters.  Then I read Return to Willow Lake by Susan Wiggs, and mostly enjoyed it.  Spoiler.....it's not that I mind that there was a character fighting cancer in the story, but at times I felt almost like it was a PSA, and I hate when authors do that.  Too much technical detail in some places, which brought my head out of the story and made me wonder why Wiggs wants to educate us all on these facts.  IMO if an author has an issue that is meaningful to her and is going to write it into her ROMANCE novel, it has to be done well, or else it comes off as a lecture.  This one skated that fence for me.

Given that I have been annoyed by something in the last several books I've read, I decided to take a break from romance and read something different.  I started The Physick Book of Deliverance Dane by Katherine Howe and so far have only gotten one chapter in.  It has something to do wtih the Salem witch trials, and a modern woman who is tied to them in some way.

I think I'm on Rock Chick Regret by KA - Hector and Sadie's story - surprisinglynot bothering me as much as expected - some reviews on amazon hated it and blamed hector and lee for what  happened when I could see how it happened and it wasn't their fault really. also have Nora Roberts' first Boonsboro book from library in ebook and another library book (non ebook) to read along with a bunch of other ebooks and no time!

I just finished Rock Chick Regret and I thought it was the most emotional of the Rock Chick books. Now I'm ready for Ally and Ren's book.

I think up next is Release Me by J. Kenner.

Reading Simply Irresistible by Jill Shalvis and struggling with it.  I don't really care for the main character, Maggie.  I'm more interested in Tara and Ford, simply because there is conflict.  Maggie and Jax are just sorta there, not doing much.

Diana, that was my least favorite book of the series- the rest are better IMO. If you can get through this one, you will enjoy at least the next 2.

Still reading Mating Instinct by Katie Reus. I am not liking this one as much as the previous ones. I don't really care about the h/h. I keep rolling my eyes at them. I don't want to give up on it though.

I'm reading Perpetual by Michaela Debelius.  It's for a review, so not something I picked out, but 2/3 of the way in I'm pleasantly surprised.

Finished Along Came Trouble, liked it better by the end. Nice hero. Now taking a break with an HP, of course.

I finished Rock Chick Redemption. It was good. Not much to not like about it. Does Darius get a book? He must, right? I guess RC Renegade is next up in this series - Jules and Vance. That's gotta be a good one too. I liked Vance in these last two books. That was him that kissed Jet, right? I think I have to read these a little closer together to keep everyone straight. Still working through The Darkest Hour, I'm about half-way right now.

I finished Wendy Roberts Dead Suite and it was pretty good. Just didn't like how Zach treated Sadie and how Sadie responded. Maybe if we would have been in Zach's head a bit, I could have understood where he was coming from. I also read Jennifer Ashley's contribution to Unbound. Shifter bear Nell was in this one, with Cormac a grizzly shifter coming in to the Nevada shiftertown, ready to move into Nell's house and heart.

I finished Deeper We Fall and was pretty bored through the second half.

Going to start Painted Faces by L.H. Cosway.

Rereading Attachments, after loving Eleanor and Park so much. I just realized that E&P is my youth and A is my husband's.

I'm reading Rock Chick Renegade.  Vance is taking me a little off guard... I mean, I know all of Lee's boys are hot, sexy, alpha badasses.... but I wasn't expecting Vance to be SO alpha.  Maybe because he was such a softie with Roxie?  I don't know.  Jules is taking some getting used to, too.  She really doesn't understand why nobody wants her out doing what she's doing?!?!?!?

Tonya -  I heard that Ally & Ren's story is going to be the last Rock Chick book, but that Darius will get his story as part of the Unfinished Heroes (Knight, Creed, Raid) series.  Don't know where I read that, though.

Yay!

I finished The Space Between by Victoria H. Smith last night. Lots....I mean LOTS... of mistakes, but the story sucked me in, so I guess that's what counts.

Now I started Rock Hard (Sinners on Tour, Bk 2) by Olivia Cunning.

Ohhhhhh. That totally makes sense since he "walks the line" between good and bad too. Can't wait to read that one!

Yay!!! (happy girl dance) I hadn't anticipated that either. I was picturing him as more of the 'gentle giant/tortured hero' type.

finished Rock Chick Regret! I have to say out of the whole series Sadie has been my fave heroine and Luke my fave hero :-) haven't cared for allie in any of the books - she's just sorta there getting drunk but hers is the next I guess. I like Marcus! Daisy is off and on with me...like Jet buts he was so independent and control-freakish and Jules so tough but I liked her - couldnt'u nderstand her missing though and ticking everyone one and not getting why she was in danger.

anyways may go to a nora roberts library ebook but dunno - kinda hitting the brakes too fast after all teh KA so may have to read Raid next!

Luke was my favorite too and I did love Sadie. I really liked all of the books except Jet and Eddie's. I don't know why, it just didn't do much for me. Darius is definitely an Unfinished Hero. I think there's more to Ally than she's let on so I can't wait for her book.

I finished If You Stay and it was okay. I think Elizabeth Hoyt's Thief of Shadows is next
