finished Own the Wind and I think Meilssa just decided Twice Temptd for me! smiley was debating a Harlequin Blaze or Vlad or library book but starting days tomorrow and ipad is easier to handle on breaks at work.

I started Clockwork Princess (Cassandra Clare) last night and finished half before I forced myself to go to bed.  I love that series.  It's been a yardwork day, so I haven't picked it back up yet, but I will once the sun goes down and the kids are in bed.

*sigh*  There were several swoon worthy Vlad moments in Twice Tempted. I loved it!

I've started my very first KA book. For You (The 'Burg series).

Melissa, I just can't stand that heroine he got stuck with :-(  I'm hoping the negative reviews about her in this book were just picky readers - I cut her slack because she's young and since she was so differnt she didn't get to experience relationships, etc. still haven't startedt hs one yet - may wait til I'm off work or heck start on morning break/lunch break at work today but afraid if Ido that I'll be too distracted!

Since my explorer got updated at home, I can't post from home anymore. Not sure what the fix is for that. Read Thea Harrison's latest Rising Darkness and it is more Science fiction fantasy romance vs her shifter series. I like the shifer series. RD wasn't bad, it just didn't have my Dragos and Pia in it. It did keep me entertained though. I did a lot of re-reading of Nalini Singh's Psy/changeling series, getting ready for Obsidian. I read the books so fast the first time, I just wanted to take me time and take a closer look at the details.

I got way behind in Harrison's series - the first one! think I read 2..the next one I had up was the serpent one I think. her stuff was complicated for me to follow :-( I liked Dragos and Pia best though.

started Vlad - keeps jumping around though and I hate that. also don't like her with w hat's his name :-(

Susanna....Maximus? I love him. lol

Keri, is the reply boxes just showing up gray? It happened to me a couple of weeks ago. I just press F12 on my keyboard, then under Document Mode select Internet Explorer 9 standards, then press F12 again. Unfortunately I have to do it everytime I log in. I don't know any other way around it.

Reading Edge of Dawn by Lara Adrian.  It's good but different.  2nd generation Breed are the focus of the books (early 20s)

I'm trying to read Thoughtless but I hate love triangles. I wish I could just skip this one and go on to Effortless but I know I can't. Poor Denny.

Rebecca, that's why I think I rated Thoughtless a little lower than I did the others in that trilogy. And I LOVE love triangles. I just felt SO bad for Denny, because he really is SUCH a great guy.

well got my Vlad fix - luv him! turned out to be a really good read for me. I feel sorry for Maximus though he did make a big mistake :-(

started a blaze by Tawny Weber - not sure I'm too into it though. I'm used to Rhonda Nelson's military hunks.

Finished Wait for Me by Elisabeth Naughten. Was it someone here who recommended that? Anyway, really good! Implausible, and the heroine is a bit of a ninny, but very emotional and exciting.

I adore him. I'm hoping he gets a book in the Night Huntress World series.

I'm still reading For You by KA. It's so freakin' long. But SO good. Oh my, the villain, and all the dead bodies, freakin' awesome! LOL  Oh and the sex is hot. And it helps that it's my fave theme, high school sweethearts reunited.

I just finished Own the Wind. Although short, I found that KA's voice wasn't muffled in any way, so I'm feeling a little better about the whole publisher take-over thing.

Getting ready to start Nightfire (Protectors, Bk 3) by Lisa Marie Rice.

Melissa - he ended up on his own right? wonder if he takes the ones he turned or what? also felt sorry for the other guy but not sure how much he had a choice in and how much was from someone else. anwyays it was a great read for me and I was caught up in the story. the negative revies on amazon didnt' do it justice IMO- I could undertand someoen not wanting to live forever if the person tehy loved might not love them and I can understand Vlad having trouble with emotional stuff since he's a tough dude for centuries! sigh..might have to re-read this sucker!

the Blaze is cooking along..not my fave yet but oh well dont' want to start a hardback since its' hard to to hold and eat! eta: seems to have picked up some now!

Edge of Dawn by Lara Adrian was just OK for me. I felt like it was a crossover book, into the new plot of the series.  Really didn't care that much for Mira either.

Missy - I'm tempted to start reading For You.  I have one more Rock Chick book to read, but I'm kinda saving that until the release of Ally & Ren's book... so I might go ahead and start The Burg series.

I finally FINALLY finished Highland Fling.  If it wasn't for a review, I would have DNF'd it.  It was just so LONG and full of historical and political storyline and not much romance.   Ugh.  The back cover blurb made it sound WAY more exciting and romantic than it really was.  LOL  Also discovered it's a re-release of a book first published in the 90s.  Ugh... talk about sneaky.

Michelle start the Burg series and lemme know how it is! the Colorado series was about as edgy as I can take with the wrongful imprisonment and blackmail and all that stuff! Chaos too!

finished the Blaze - it was ok but dont' think I'll rush to download the sequel unless I find it at the library or for free. Started a Love Inspired by Missy Tippens and so far it's grabbed my attention though had to put it down for work!

Reading Calculated in Death.  Fairly meh, and there's a lot of editing errors. I fear Roberts has gotten to the "she's so popular, we don't have to edit her" place. :-(
