I'm reading Mortal Seductions by Allyson James.  I've read the book before it and the short story that comes after it so now I'm finally getting to read the middle story.

Listening to Ruthless Game by Christine Feehan. Have had a hard time keeping interested in this series lately but this one on tape is pretty good so far.

I stayed home like a slug and read a hidden treasure yesterday... Tempting the Earl by Wendy May Andrews.  It was fantastic; probably one of the best books I've read all year.  I'm kicking myself for letting it sit in my TBR pile for so long.  It the only published book by Ms. Andrews so I know I need to be on the lookout for her work.  Excellent, excellent read!

Finished Let Sleeping Rogues Lie by Sabrina Jeffries last night. And Beware a Scot's Revenge by Jeffries as well only last week. Now I'm started on Only a Duke Will Do.  I fear I've found another series that I'm hooked on so I'll have to get the other books in the series and soon! :]

I only made it about halfway through The Guy Not Taken by Jennifer Weiner.  I like her writing generally, but this one just didn't grab me.

Now I'm taking a break from romance and reading Bossypants by Tina Fey.  She is a riot!

I've read the book before it and the short story that comes after it ...

Sarah, there's a short story with that series? I have both books and didn't realize there was another story. Where can I find it?

I finished A Tall Dark Cowboy by Mackenzie McKade. Very short, easy read with a fulfilling emotional story. I'm now reading Inside Out by Lauren Dane.

I finished Renegade by Lora Leigh & now I'm on to Live Wire.  I just love Jordan Malone.  Yummy.  I struggled to finish Renegade.  Not that it wasn't good (it was good, not great), but it was too darn long.  5 attempts on Mikayla's life, about as many changes of heart for Nik (I want her but I can't have her, I need her but I can't give forever).... Give me a break.  If you want her, then find a way to man up and make it work.  And for such a badass mercenary special ops guy, it took him long enough to figure out what was going on with the bad guy.  Duh.

I finished Stronger than Sin by Caridad Pineiro.  It was better than the first book definitely, but still "just ok".  Grade C+

I'm still reading mysteries -on book #3 by Maggie Sefton. not sure of the main character - the 'love interest' hasn't gelled and now there's an older cowboy newly widowed and I keep getting the feeling she's looking to him but I havea good imagination! about to take up knitting...sigh...

also brought some love inspired and some j d robb from the library just in case though I'm not that optimistic that I'll read any tonight at wrok LOL!

Finished two audio books in the last couple of days: TOUGH CUSTOMER/Sandra Brown and THE VINTAGE CAPER/Peter Mayle. Half a disc left to listen to in the car, THE WHITE QUEEN/Philippa Gregory.

Reading (going back to, finally) Mario Acevedo's X-RATED BLOODSUCKERS and LORD OF SCOUNDRELS/Loretta Chase (which I reread every May).

I have a Debbie Macomber audio in transit on ILL, and the new C. S. Harris on request. Hoping to finish started books over the long weekend (I'm taking Thursday & Friday off to make a 5-day weekend).

Gail

Weird...for the first time in a long time, I have NO WL books to read!  I actually dipped into the books on my TBR that have been collecting dust for a good couple of years.  Thought about starting the 2nd Marcelli Sisters book by Mallery, but instead picked up Jude Devereaux's Lavender Morning for something a little different.

Oh, and Bossypants was fantastic!  I only read the occasional memoir every once in awhile, and this one was great- very funny!
