I finished Requiem -- sooo disappointing. What a crappy ending. Probably would have loved it when I was 16. :-\

Now starting Letters to Kelly by Suzanne Brockmann.

Read - and I can't believe I finished it - Darkness Bound by Stella Cameron.   Gave a whole new meaning to wallbanger.

Note to the publishers: Now that this New Adult thing is a category, I need them to start marking books that way. I hate the New Adult and I think I would have a less crappy attitude towards some of the start and throwaways if I simply didn't read them in the first place.

I would die of embarrassment, Nancy! I always have to make my print teeny-tiny if I run into a hot scene at the gym. blush (Though audiobooks are even worse!)

I just started reading The Greatest Knight by Elizabeth Chadwick.  My first book by this author.  I like it so far though I am only in chapter 4.  I just finished War Lord by Angus Donald so this current book ties in nicely.  I will probably have to buy everything she has ever written now...LOL...

I finished Pressure Head by JL Merrow and liked it. It was a pretty good m/m mystery with some romance thrown in. Some of the British lingo threw me a bit. I had to look up a couple of words. surprise

Now reading Tender Mercies by Kitty Thomas, I'm at the halfway point and freakin' loving it.

I have The Greatest Knight on my TBR. Glad to know it's good.

Finished Letters to Kelly. It was surprisingly funny -- I loved the hero's conversations with the romance novel characters he was writing.

haven't really gotten too 'into' anything lately - still reading the Mr Knightley, emma and chili slaw dog book, bouncing around in Cherise Sinclairs' last 2 Shadowlands books, and a nonfiction book...

Reading The Playful Prince by Michelle M. Pillow right now and am enjoying it. I've been in such a rut lately that I'm glad I'm finally reading something I like.

Melissa I have Tender Mercies on my Kindle, I'm glad to hear you liked it.

I'm still reading Heart of Obsidian and I have to say, I have a new fave in this series. It is just a great read and has my favorite type of hero, dark and tormented.

Yesterday I read The Lion's Daughter by Loretta Chase.  Hate to say it just didn't work for me.

yesyesyes

I finished For You and, of course, loved every minute of it. I wanted a bit more closure on the whole serial killer story, but that's my only complaint. Now I'm starting Rocky (Tales of the Were, Bk 3) by Bianca D'Arc.

Well after sitting in my TBR for a couple of years, I think I'm going to finally start Eden's Deadly Fear.

Started Games of Command -- like the characters, but my brain seems to turn off the second I start a science fiction book!

back to the nonfiction and Mr Knightley, emma and chili slaw dogs...tired so not really focusing too well but I was getting more into the story - one of those 'the right man is right under your nose as your best friend' type stories

I read Heart of Obsidian and loved it! He is right up there with Hawke for me...I was even debating re-reading it as soon as I finished! It was a hard book to follow up so I figured I would re-read an easy book. I picked Night Pleasures by Sherrilyn Kenyon. I am having trouble getting passed all the time references...for example he has a beeper....and a cell and a pda lol It's taking me out of the story.

I just finished Twice Tempted by Jeaniene Frost. Loved it. I really enjoy how they play on his dark side.

I think next up is Damaged Goods by Lauren Gallagher. I also have A Fistul of Charms by Kim Harrison (I am sooooo glad I started that series - I freakin love it!) and Kitty and the Midnight Hour by Carrie Vaughn.

Finished Tiger Magic by Jennifer Ashley - it was so good.  Tiger got a great story.   Also read a Kindle short about Queen Maxima of the Netherlands and her fairy tale romance with the now King Willem Alexander.  For a freebie it wasn't bad.

Feeling majorly burned out! Way too much reviewing lately. Turning to a cheerful looking Emma Darcy HP for respite.
