Susanna = you mentioned the new Nook.  I have a friend who got one and she really likes it.  I tried one at BN and its nice but I'm a Nook Color owner and its awesome.  Hard to compare apples to oranges, but there it is.  I do like the new Nook MUCH better than the Kindle though.  I'm thinking of selling my Kindle once I get the books read I've already downloaded to it.

Still reading Breaking Point by Pamela Clare.

I have the kindle, and I love it, but I kind of want a Nook now too....maybe eventually lol Not sure I really need 3 ereaders (have a sony also)

I am reading a few things, the anthology Hexed (read it or the Allyson James story, don't really care about the others but it's to review so...), Shadow Walker by Allyson James, and Harry Potter CoS.

Need to get my June books reviewed so I can move onto July, really wanting to start Bloodlust by Michelle Rowen

I really love my Kindle. Looking forward to see if hte rumors of a new Amazon product this year are true, or not. They may have a tablet or touch reader in the works. I would def. buy another product if I like it and have the money.

Finished a book called The Fury by Sloan McBride. There are a few hours I'll never get back.

Currently reading Siren's Call by Devyn Quinn, which I am really enjoying, though I wish I had an ecopy instead of the paperback. I am so spoiled. I much prefer reading on one of my ereaders. This book takes place (at least in the beginning) on the coast of Maine, which is really interesting to read about, as I would love to go there myself some day.

Finished Love Me if You Dare, and it was ok- I liked the first one better.  I started Creed's Honor, but am not very far into it yet.  No time to read lately!

I started a mystery series by Merline Lovelace - Samantha Spade- involves the Air Force like a lot of her books. All the Wrong Moves. I didn't get too far since I was sooo tired after work last night. I'm hoping to ngiht wont' be as bad at work and I can get ina  bit of reading - last night I barely finished an older HAR that I'd started Friday morning!

I'd heard the Nook Color was hard to read...hmmm...guess I'll have to go play around with them. I just wasn't sure which NOok was the new one. I can just see myself with 4-6 ereaders eventually!

The Nook Color is back-lit like your computer monitor. The Nook Touch is e-ink and not back lit.

Right - and both have pro's and cons.  Like I can use my NC in the car with no booklight needed if its at night, or I can read in bed without having to have a light on and bothering my husband.  But the e-ink on the new Nook is nice because there's no glare in the sun and I understand the battery life is supposed to be really long.

ooh thanks Kathy that's good to know! I wasn't wild the first few pages but then she kinda grew on me and 'd have kept reading if I hadn't been so tired. I think I was asleep a few minutes after turning out the light this morning.

so the color Nook I can read in the dark? and the other one I need a light on?

Absolutely correct, Susanna, if you want to read in the dark.

Cyndi, let me know what you think of Beyond the Rain..good or bad.  I haven't spoken to anyone else who've read the series! LOL

As for me, I am reading....NOTHING! LOL After my 8 week reading challenge my brain is just fried.  Although I have some books waiting to be read including...The Secret Desires of a Governess, My Favorite Countess, Who's Bride is She Anyway, and A Darker Shade of Dead.  Choices, choices. smiley

Isn't a sweetie of a story? I had this book rattling around in bookcases for years and nearly tossed it in the GW bag. Soooo glad I took the time to at least start it and then fell in love with it.

Just finished a cute short story called Big Girls Do Cry by Hollie Davidson.  Its about a plus sized woman finding happiness with herself and with a man after a bad, mentally abusive marriage.  Too short, but I enjoyed it.

thanks Anne - yes I'd prefer to read without the light on when I'm in bed - it bothers my eyes and I can never get it just where I want it to be.

I'm still reading the Merline Lovelace mystery - it's good but once again between work being too busy and me being too tired afterwards I'm still barely halfway through it! hope to finish tonight or in the morning though.

Finished Breaking Point by Pamela Clare.  Highly recommend it - it was awesome.

Good to know, Sherri....I just picked this one up Sunday (thank you, 40% off Borders coupon!).

Not a lot of reading done this weekend, but I did finish Hostage to Pleasure (Psy-Changelings, Bk 5). I was disappointed. I love Dorian, and I was wanting more out of his story.

I'm a little over halfway finished with Dirty Deeds by Lorelei James. The chemistry is hot, but so far, the story is kinda lame.

Klondike Wedding by Kate Bridges  was a DNF for me.  Too much back and forth between the H/h, plus for half the book he was with someone else.

I finished the first Samantha Spade mystery by Merline Lovelace and started the second but not too far into it yet - fell asleep. now wide awake since my dad woke me up sayig he was headed home. sigh...

I overdid it at the librrary and still have more 'in transit'..sigh oh well at least they're free there but I have way too many to get through now and will have to pick up the pace! I have 3 weeks though and some I'll be able to renew if I still want to read them or just return them and check them out later. A lot are the shorter harlequin types that caught my eye - since work has been so busy and these fit a busy and tired week I figured I'd better grab a couple of handfuls just in case I can't get back to the 'big books' for a while!

I adored this one too. I traded it a while ago, and now I'm back on the wishlist to get it again because I have an urge to re-read.

I'm reading Flowers from the Storm by Laura Kinsale and am loving it. So glad it lived up to the hype. Looking forward to reading all of her other books.
