I just finished up a Golden Age detective novel- Gladys Mitchell's "Rising of the Moon". One of the best mysteries I have ever read. Its about the hunt for a serial killer and features Mrs. Bradley (the pyschoanalyst), but, for the narration and heroism this time she takes a back seat. The narrator is a 13 year old boy, and his 11 year old brother. Absolutely amazing!

I am now reading Georgette Heyer 1937's "Why Shoot a Butler?" Her syle is a cross between Mary Roberts Rinehart, and Patricia Wentworth. Thus far, she reminds me more of the former.

I'm just about to the 'grand finale' of Artifacts by Mary Anna Evans. What a great story! Fortunately, there are more books with the same main character to follow. Debbie
