This books is great for homeschoolers and public education teachers... with a list of favorite poems, literature, language arts helps, history and geography, visual arts, music, math, and science ideas that are all appropriate for the second grade level.

We used some of the actual book as a teaching source, read to the children out of it and showed examples to children.

Whether you are homeschooling or just want to see where your second grader is at, this book is helpful and gives a good idea of things to cover to "keep up" with what other second graders are learning. Good to use as a reference.

This was a wonderful sample from each subject of what the child should be learning. I really like this book and felt it was very thorough and easy to reas as well easy for my chuldren to understand.

This is a great condensed book to see if your child is on track with their education. It's great to use if you're trying to build your own curriculum for homeschool as well.
