I am still debating what book to start the month with, what about you?

I finished Haunting Violet.  I enjoyed it although it was nothing to rave about.  I'm now reading Falling Under by Gwen Hayes

I am still working on The Magnolia League...  and it's not that it is not good, I just have had very little reading time lately...

I just finished Prophesy of the Sisters.  I liked it okay, but it was a typical set-up kind of first in a series.  Now I'm starting Restoring Harmony.

Reading The Battle of the Labyrinth, the 4th book in the Percy Jackson series. I've enjoyed these more than I thought I would, even though they do remind me a little (a lot) of Harry Potter. And of course, HP was done better. :)

I just finished Restoring Harmony and I LOVED IT!!!  Great characters, great journey, great everything :).  Now I'm starting Wake and not sure what to expect at all.  I think I found it at Goodwill for a buck and picked it up b/c it was cheap lol.

Val--I enjoyed it too!  I was creepy to read, because to me, it was a dystopian that could actually happen!

Just starting The Sweetest Thing by Christina Mandelski

I finished Wake and liked the story, although the writing is very choppy.  At least it is a fast read.  Now onto Fade.

I'm reading He's So Not Worth It by Kieran Scott. About halfway through and enjoying it as much as the first.

I finished Out For Blood by Alyxandra Harvey. It is book 3 in the series. I really like this series. Not a lot of whining teenager stuff you get from a lot of YA books, good romance, friendships and action. Highly recommend this series.

Prom Night From Hell--so far I have only read Meg Cabot's story and I like it.  I haven't read anything else by her, but this short story was enough to encourage me to look for other books by her).

Masquerade (Blue Bloods, Bk. 2)--I am not very far into this book but so far I like it.

Hollowland by Amanda Hocking--this book is .99 on kindle and a friend insisted that I get it and she was right.  It is awesome!!  I need to see what else she has written.  I am about 30% done in one night.  wink

Hollowland really is great, but the ending ticked me off! I am reading If You Were Here by Jen Lancaster. Usually she's my favorite author, but this is her first foray into the world of fiction and it's not....that great. :/

Had my last final yesterday so I went home and read the new Red Riding Hood.  I was not impressed by the story and the ending made me really mad.  I started Stealing Death today, which is turning out to be a really interesting read so far.

OT - what do you think of Woody Harrelson as Haymitch in The Hunger Games?

Not what I had in mind at all...  of course, I totally envisioned a LOT of the characters as different from those that have been cast!

I thought the reason they were prolonging casting him was that they were trying to get Robert Downy Jr. but I'm actually really really happy with Woody Harrelson.  I think he'll be perfect.  I wonder if there are twinkies in Panem...

John C. Reilly would have been good too.

Thinking of Woody Harrelson in  People vs. Larry Flynt, he'll be great in the role!

I haven't been reading as much recently because of baseball season.  I read Unearthly, which I liked a lot.

I read Pretty Bad Things, which comes out in the US this fall and wasn't a fan.  Part of my frustration was that it was set in the US, but the characters seemed British.  I am curious to see if the US version is changed or if it is published as is.

I just finished Saltwater Moons, which was published in Australia.  It was pretty good, though kind of slow.

Now I am reading What Happened to Goodbye.  It's a pretty fast read.

Just finished Bumped....  I really enjoyed it and am looking forward to more of the story, but hated that it just abruptly ended.....  that seems to be happening a lot lately with books intended from the start to be a series!
