I'm not quite sure how this happened -

I book I had wishlisted and was first in line for appeared on the system, and I sent a request to the person.  The book was then removed from the system by the person (not sure if they accepted my request first and then canceled, or if they just refused the request).  I'm disappointed by no worries, the book still showed on my wishlist with me as 1 of 7.

Later that day I look at my account and the book is no longer on my wishlist!  I looked up the book in the system and clicked wish again.  At that point, it showed up on my list as 1 of 7.  Then this morning I looked at it and I'm 6 of 6?!  What the!?!  I rather expected that actually since I had to re-add it to my list, but why it get dropped off in the first place?  What happened here?  I'm rather annoyed to lose my place when I didn't do anything.  Any ideas as to what occurred or what I may have done that triggered this?

It could have been a brower issue.... meaning, initially when you looked at the list again and it was 1 of 7 your browser had just showed the old info.

As far as your request and the wishlist.... check your transaction archive first and be sure there wasn't a mistake on your part (you hit the wrong button or something).

Is there even the tiniest possibility that you moved it to your reminder list? If you do that, then you go to the end of the line when you move it back to your wish list.

If you are positive you never clicked +Reminder, then go to the Contact Us link at the bottom of this page and ask for help.

Cathy A., I think that's it!  I believe I did put it briefly on the reminder list!  Wow, I had no idea it would do that.  Well, I'm glad the mystery is solved at least, and now I know not to put anything from my wishlist on to the reminder list, even temporarily.  Thanks for your help!

I've made the reminder list mistake recently as well and will not do that again!  Angela, I am not sure what you mean in your original post by "I sent a request to the person."  If you were #1 on the list, the system would automatically submit the request for you.  I don't know what you did, but maybe that is what messed up the original order?
