I got an early review copy of Peter Robinson's new book. It is called Friend of the Devil and stars Inspector Banks. It will be out in January.

I just started it today so I don't have any insight to offer yet, but I imagine it will be great since the rest of the series is wonderful.

I just found Sharon Short's new book in the Josie Toadfern Stain-buster series that will be coming out in March 08 ~ Tye Died & Dead.  There are 5 other books in the series and they are really fun reads.  Excellent cozies.

Matthew Reilly's got a new one coming out in Jan; awesome read if you like action reads & even if you don't normally, these are superb! Every one of his books  I have read (he is from Australia) & every single one of them is excellent. Not my normal reading but this man is above & beyond excellent. So, i am anxiously waiting for it on Jan 8th, I believe its called the 6 stones, with the characters from 7 deadly wonders; if you like the raiders of the lost arc movies, this is very similar to his writings. Even his sci fi books are superb. Also, Robin Hobb's new book is coming out in Jan as well; the 3rd book in the soldiers son trilogy. She is a most excellent fantasy/sci fi writer, Her farseer "trilogy" it is called; actually it consists of 3 books, 3 more books, & then 3 more books after that, all very well written & holds your interest (don't be turned off by the title); the 1st book Assassin's Apprentice introduces you to the series; I got in lot of books from Ebay & had to find the other books. I have not yet read the soldiers son books; hope to start shortly; Also the last book in the Eragon series is scheduled for release 9/08. Happy reading!

Thanks Anna for that link.  I have learned so much from this PBS site about books, genres, and lots of sites to check on info about books.
